Recontron Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how FG Brands, operating as Recontron ("Recontron," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use Recontron.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect information such as:
- name;
- email address;
- account identifier;
- authentication information; and
- account preferences.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe or another disclosed payment processor.
Recontron may receive transaction information including:
- subscription plan;
- payment status;
- billing dates;
- Stripe customer or subscription identifiers; and
- limited billing information.
We do not store your full payment-card number.
AI Conversation Content
When you use Recontron, we process information including:
- prompts;
- conversation messages;
- AI-generated responses;
- model selections;
- uploaded or attached content where supported;
- multi-model comparison results;
- evaluator outputs;
- adjudicator outputs; and
- reconciled answers.
If conversation history is enabled, this information may be stored so that you can access previous conversations and continue them.
Usage and Technical Information
We may collect:
- models used;
- request timestamps;
- token usage;
- estimated inference cost;
- latency;
- errors;
- feature usage;
- reconciliation activity;
- subscription-plan usage;
- device/browser information;
- IP address;
- authentication events; and
- other diagnostic telemetry.
For example, we may measure whether users interact with features or plans marked "Coming Soon" so we can understand product demand.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide and operate Recontron;
- authenticate users;
- maintain conversation history;
- route requests to selected AI models;
- perform multi-model orchestration;
- evaluate and reconcile AI responses;
- process subscriptions and billing;
- enforce usage limits;
- calculate inference and usage metrics;
- detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- troubleshoot and improve performance;
- understand which features are useful;
- communicate important account or Service information; and
- comply with legal obligations.
3. How AI Requests Are Processed
Recontron's core functionality requires transmitting content to third-party AI services.
When you submit a prompt, Recontron may send relevant information to:
- OpenRouter;
- an underlying AI model or inference provider; or
- multiple providers when you request comparison or reconciliation.
For a reconciliation request, your original prompt and one or more AI responses may also be provided to separate evaluator or adjudicator models.
Accordingly, a single Recontron request may involve multiple third-party AI processors.
4. OpenRouter and AI Providers
Recontron currently uses or may use OpenRouter as an API routing layer for third-party AI models.
OpenRouter and underlying AI providers may process request metadata and, depending on provider configuration and policy, prompt or response content.
Underlying AI providers have their own data-retention policies.
Recontron therefore cannot represent that every model has identical privacy or retention practices.
Where available, we may implement provider-selection, zero-data-retention, or other privacy controls.
5. Sensitive Information
Do not submit highly sensitive information unless necessary and you are authorized to disclose it.
Examples include:
- Social Security numbers;
- passwords or authentication secrets;
- payment-card numbers;
- confidential business secrets;
- protected health information;
- biometric identifiers;
- government identification numbers; or
- other regulated information.
Because multi-model functionality may transmit information to multiple providers, users should exercise particular care with confidential material.
6. Payments
Stripe processes subscription payments on our behalf.
Stripe may collect payment, billing, fraud-prevention, device, and transaction information under its own privacy terms.
Recontron receives only the information necessary to manage your subscription and account.
7. Analytics and Product Telemetry
Recontron uses Google Analytics 4, a third-party analytics service, to understand how visitors use our website and to improve the Service. Google Analytics is optional. Its tag does not load unless you select Allow analytics.
After you consent, Google Analytics may receive information such as page visits and interactions, device and browser information, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We configure Google Analytics with advertising storage, ad user data, ad personalization, and Google signals disabled.
We do not send your prompts, AI-generated responses, payment-card data, or knowingly sensitive chat content to Google Analytics. We also do not assign your Recontron account identifier as a Google Analytics user ID.
You may decline analytics without losing access to Recontron. You may later allow or withdraw consent by selecting Cookie Preferences in the public website footer. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection on Recontron and removes Recontron's Google Analytics cookies where practical.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Recontron may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for:
- authentication;
- session management;
- preferences;
- security;
- analytics; and
- application functionality.
We store your analytics preference in your browser's local storage. Google Analytics cookies, including identifiers such as _ga, are set only after you consent to analytics. Declining analytics does not disable cookies or storage that are necessary for authentication, security, preferences, or core application functionality.
9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Recontron does not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not currently engage in those activities, Global Privacy Control signals do not change those practices. If we introduce practices that are subject to legally required opt-out signals, we will honor applicable Global Privacy Control signals and update this Privacy Policy accordingly. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not currently standardized, and Recontron does not respond differently to them unless required by applicable law.
10. When We Share Information
We may disclose information to:
AI and Infrastructure Providers
As necessary to generate, compare, evaluate, and reconcile AI responses.
Payment Providers
Such as Stripe for subscription processing.
Hosting and Database Providers
As necessary to host the application, databases, authentication systems, backups, and infrastructure.
Analytics and Monitoring Providers
Where used to measure product performance, errors, and feature engagement.
Professional Advisers
Including lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, and consultants where reasonably necessary.
Legal and Safety Requirements
We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to:
- comply with law or legal process;
- protect users or the public;
- investigate fraud or abuse;
- enforce our Terms; or
- protect Recontron's legal rights.
Business Transfers
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of substantially all relevant assets.
11. Selling Personal Information
Recontron does not sell personal information for money.
Recontron currently does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If these practices change, this Privacy Policy and any legally required privacy controls will be updated before such use.
12. AI Training
Recontron does not intentionally use your private conversation content to train Recontron's own foundation model.
However, content sent to third-party AI providers is subject to the applicable provider's data practices.
Provider policies can differ by provider, endpoint, account configuration, and routing option.
Where we make privacy controls available, their scope will be described in the product.
13. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including account administration, Service operation, security, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
Different information may have different retention periods.
For example:
- account information may remain while the account is active;
- billing records may be retained as legally required;
- telemetry may be retained for product and security analysis;
- conversations may remain until deleted by the user or according to applicable retention settings; and
- backups may persist temporarily after deletion.
Content transmitted to third-party AI providers may be retained independently under those providers' policies.
14. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information.
However, no internet service or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
15. International Processing
AI providers and infrastructure providers may process data in the United States and other countries.
Those countries may have privacy laws different from those where you live.
Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
16. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights including the ability to:
- access personal information;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion;
- obtain a copy of certain information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; and
- appeal certain privacy decisions.
We will honor applicable rights as required by law.
Requests may be submitted to:
[PRIVACY@RECONTRON.COM]
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
17. California Privacy Rights
California residents may have rights under applicable California privacy laws, including rights to know, access, correct, and delete certain personal information and to receive information regarding certain disclosures.
Recontron does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We will not discriminate against users for exercising legally protected privacy rights.
18. Children's Privacy
Recontron is not intended for children under 13.
Paid Recontron accounts are currently intended for users who are at least 18.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If we discover such information was collected improperly, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
19. Third-Party Links and Services
Recontron may contain links to third-party websites or interact with external services.
Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
20. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Recontron develops or applicable laws and data practices change.
If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law.
The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
